This series is composed of bound volumes which document the civil complaints filed in the court for the inclusive dates listed. Information presented in these volumes includes: (1) the number of the Georgia Militia District in which the court was located; (2) names of attorneys involved; (3) names of litigants; (4) type of charge complained of; (5) date complaint was placed before the court; (6) case number; (7) an enumeration of the Justice's and Constable's costs; (8) Constable's entry, and (9) disposition of the case. The type of charges complained of included suits to settle accounts, to collect unpaid promissory notes and to settle mortgages or liens.
