These are monthly reports to the Commissioner of the Department of Human Resources from the Council which is a liaison of the Department's Georgia Perinatal Coordinating Office. These reports relate the trips, meetings, reports, and speeches made by the personnel of the Office which were significant. The reports to the Commissioner are composed in a literary not a quantitative fashion. The activities in the report are varied but may be generally categorized as public education, writing, legislative and public lobbying, staff education. This series is related to the minutes, ad hoc publications, and newsletters of the Council which are respectively series 7, 9, and 10.
