This series consists of a single bound volume which documents some of the financial activities of Mr. Embree for the inclusive dates listed below. Very little is known about Mr. Embree except that this account book indicates he was a blacksmith. This volume is a private record and is included in this sub-group only because it was accessioned in as part of the governmental records of Columbia County and because if was probably accessioned into the Columbia County Courthouse as part of an estate. Information presented in this volume includes: (1) name of client, (2) type of service rendered to the client, (3) date service was rendered and (4) quantity of and amount charged for such service.
