Despite the series title, these records deal with virtually every phase of the Historical Commission's field of endeavor. Of particular interest are the lists of historical markers erected through­out the State by the Commission, correspondence with various prominent government officials and private citizens, and correspondence and other records concerning various historic sites and institutions throughout Georgia and beyond.
