The published volumes listed below are some of the publications the Bureau of State Planning (now Dept. of Community Affairs) used for reference. They are studies of various aspects of community planning by persons other than the officers and staff members of the Bureau. Most of the studies were made by college and university departments of social sciences. The staff members of the Bureau used these studies as guidelines upon which to formulate their plans of creating the development commissions.
