On February 14, 1974 the Georgia Department of Agriculture observed the one hundredth year of its existence in a ceremony held in the Rotunda of the State Capitol. The material contained in this series consists of the memorabilia from this ceremony which includes the following: a copy of the Program; a copy of the April 22, 1926 issue of the "Market Bulletin"; a copy of the resolution passed by the General Assembly which recognized and commended the Georgia Dept. of Agriculture on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of its creation; and a pen observing the commemoration of the Anniversary.
