These publications are annual compilations of several bulletins and reports published at various times throughout the year by the department. Included are: reports and messages directed to the farmers from the Commissioner of Agriculture and other division and bureau chiefs; recommendations as to crops to plant; answers to questions from Georgia farmers; and seasonal reports and illustrations. These volumes served in the early years of the Department as a combination of annual reports to the farmers on the part of the Commissioner and the Georgia Year Book.
