Community Affairs - Atlanta-Fulton County Study Commission - Subject Files
Scope and Contents
This series consists of: (1) resolutions, (2) proposals, (3) letters, (4) contracts, (5) general correspondence, (6) minutes, (7) press releases, (8) lists of committee members, (9) copies of legislation proposed by the Commission, (10) two copies of the Commission's final report and tapes which document all phases of the work of the A-FCSC. The Commission was appointed by the Governor in 1977 to thoroughly and objectively analyze the delivery of governmental services and revenues of Fulton County and its cities. It is significant to note that the Commission apparently found much reason for improvement because the volume of proposed legislation is impressive.
