Precinct returns, recaps, and consolidated returns by county for the General Primary and Runoff elections. Records for 2004 to present include Statements of Votes Cast, Certification and Summary Reports and Numbered Lists of Voters only. The retention schedule for the numbered list of voters has changed and will not be included after 2010.

In March of 2020 Primaries, including the Presidential Primary, were delayed by COVID. Early voting had already begun and was paused. Several follow-up voting dates were decided on and eventually pushed back March 24, May 19, June 9, June 24, and July 20. The Primary runoff election was held on August 11, 2020. Due to the changes in the primaries, paperwork for the certifications, election summary reports, and statements of votes case (SOVC)/Returns can be found in the folder by county, however researchers may find the certifications filed in the SOVC file instead of the certifications file. If you are researching 2020 primary elections, we suggest looking through all primaries and runoff paperwork for the county you seek.
