This series contains a complete list, including descriptions and history sheets, of all the furnishings of the Executive Center or Governor's Mansion. These outstanding items were purchased under the auspices of the Georgia Executive Center Fine Arts Committee. This series further includes a color photograph of each item in the mansion. Also included is miscellaneous information on the furnishings including restoration and repair worksheets, blueprints of the Executive Center, newspaper and magazine articles on the progress of the project, pamphlets, all negatives accompanying the photographs and related correspondence. The list of furnishings is arranged consecutively by catalog number. The photographs are contained in 20 binders, the majority of which are arranged by specific room in the mansion. There are exceptions, however, including two binders containing pictures of categories of furnishings including fabrics, silver, china and crystal and two binders containing general views of rooms rather than photographs of individual pieces of furniture.
