Scope and Contents

This series contains audit reports, correspondence, commencement programs, publications, lists of students attending summer school sessions, work sheets, reports, inventories of equipment, proposals for establishing new institutions and copies of legislation pertaining to the various defunct state schools and some few extant institutions supervised by the Board of Regents of the University System. Many of the institutions included, though defunct officially, were absorbed by other colleges and universities still in existence. Among the subjects addressed in these records are requests for transcripts, financial matters, of utmost importance in the 1930'5, school property matters and projections of future attendance figures.
