The Georgia Water Well Standards Advisory Council was formed by the Water Well Standards Act (O.C.G.A 12-5-120 through 138) in 1976. In addition to the meeting minutes, files may include copies of legislation, rules and regulations, policy changes, and revisions thereof. Many files also include correspondence to and from the committee regarding licensure of well drillers, disciplinary actions, complaints about ineffectual well drillers, lists of drillers licensed by the council, and locations of water well drillers within the state.
