This series contains various records created by municipalities, counties, public authorities, commissions, boards, utilities or agencies pertaining to area plans which are submitted to the Atlanta Regional Commission for review. Included are: Acknowledgement of Receipt; Staff Notice of Review; Request for Comments; Request for Conference forms (if applicable); official and unofficial review comments by Commission staff and interested agencies; and related correspondence. These records must be submitted to the Commission for review under provisions of Act 5 passed by the Georgia General Assembly in 1971. This review process thus is in addition to the A-95 reviews initiated by the State Clearinghouse of the Office of Planning and Budget which are found in series 264-1-1.
