This series contains loose original miscellaneous papers of the County Commissioner's Office of Walton County. The majority of these records covers the early 1900's although some records were found to be as early as 1830 and as late as 1966. The papers include (1) court vouchers, (2) bills of cost, (3) accounts against the county, (4) insurance policies, (5) road tax receipts and (6) field books on roads. No effort has been made to arrange the components of these files into some sort of order. This series has records that are also found in the Superior Court, Probate Court, City or County Court, Justice of the Peace Court and Tax Collector's Office.
