This series consists of a wide variety of papers pertaining to the formation and administration of the Commission from its inception to the closing of the office. Included are: (1) copies of legislative bills and resolutions; (2) recommendations as to the aims and membership of the Commission; (3) memorandums concerning various emergencies that arose; (4) reports of the Chairman; (5) invitations and programs; (6) insignia of the Commission; (7) publications distributed by the Commission. This series complements the correspondence in Series 1 and 2, and in some instances duplicates of the papers in this Series are found in the files of those preceding series.
