Georgia Agrirama Development Authority - Administration - Cultural Heritage of the Wiregrass In South Georgia Files
Scope and Contents
This series contains a variety of records in several mediums. First is a brochure advertising an intensive historical research project sponsored by the Agrirama and partially funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The brochure also solicits documents and materials of the 1880 - 1900 study period from the general public. Also included is a regular Agrirama tourist brochure. Next in order are four typescripts of lectures delivered during the project preview in February and March of 1981. The lectures do not have titles, but each is numbered, dated and bears the name of the lecturer. A study packet is furnished for lectures three and four. In addition to the typescripts, there are six video tape cassettes of these same four lectures. Each cassette is numbered and dated as are the typescripts. Most also bear introductions to the subjects and brief biographical sketches of the lecturers.
