Identifier: 086-03-006

Scope and Contents

This Departmental bibliography is designed to inform the citizens of Georgia as to what environmental information is available to them and where and how it might be acquired. The Price Gilbert Library at the Georgia Institute of Technology was used as the base depository and research center in the publication's compilation, but most of the information cited might be obtained anywhere in Georgia. Updated supplements to the initial guide are compiled periodically. A subject index is included, arranged by county and then by the following categories: (1) water (2) physiography (3) fish and wildlife (4) recreation and tourism (5) land use (6) other, including population, economy and maps.
