This series contains unbound papers relating to the commissioning of state officials by the Governor's Office prior to 1948. After this date the functions of the Governor's Office were transferred to the Secretary of State. Specific documents include: (1) dedimus potestatems, (2) certifications of elected state officials, (3) oaths, (4) bonds. The state offices included in these records are: (1) State superintendent of banks, (2) Railroad commissioner, (3) Health Board members, (4) Medical College board members, (5) Trustee of state sanitarium, (6) Members of the General Assembly
