Scope and Contents
This series consists of directives, reports and incoming correspondence addressed to the various officials of the Public Service Commission, generally accompanied by their replies. As the series title implies, these records are mainly those from distinct individuals or companies who requested assistance from the PSC in answering specific questions on the establishment of truck companies, bus companies, the transporting of goods from a state into Georgia or through Georgia, the possible violation of the Motor Carrier Act by concerned citizens and the like. For other correspondence, one should also see Series 20, General Administrative Reading Files, of this record group and sub group.
