Scope and Contents
These Pharmacy Board minutes summarize the activities of that body. Among the items included in the board's deliberations are: (1) reports of illegal writing of prescriptions; (2) investigations into complaints against pharmacies; (3) cooperative actions involving pharmacy boards in other states; (4) discussions of new drug laws, particularly those regarding narcotics; (5) cases of individual pharmacists summoned to appear before the board for alleged violation of the drug laws; (6) actions on applications of pharmacists for Georgia licenses; (7) motions establishing the next examination date for prospective pharmacists, and (8) selection of board officers. Also included in these files are copies of letters written to pharmacists summoning them to appear before the board and letters thanking various speakers who addressed the board on such matters as legal ramifications, pharmacy curriculum innovations, etc.
