Biographical / Historical
William was possibly part of the Donald or Daniel Clark and Barbara Grey household who came from Highland Scotland to settle in Darien, GA, in the 1730s. According to early records, Will or William Clark had an older brother named Hugh; and many of the other grant holders from 1757 had the same names as early Darien settlers. A Hugh Clark was granted land in the same area on the same day in 1757 as was William.
