Biographical / Historical
Joseph E. Brown, governor of Georgia, married Elizabeth Grisham, daughter of Joseph Grisham. Their daughter, Mary Virginia Brown married Dr. E. L. Connally and was the mother of Joseph Brown Connally (1875 - 1920).
