Biographical / Historical
Charles Moran was born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 11, 1896 to Mary and Charles Anton Moran, a physician from Canada.
Charles served in World War I, enlisting in the Enlisted Reserve Corps June 4, 1917. He was a part of the Co B 17 Engineers until his discharge October 27, 1919. He married Rachel Moore on October 23, 1940.
He worked as a secretary for a private estate and in the 1950 census, he is listed as a senior clerk for the Georgia Department of Labor.
Charles died May 18, 1977 and he is buried in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia.
