Biographical / Historical

Jannette Lane Bradbury was born in Meriwether County, Georgia, and received two law degrees from the Atlanta Law School. She married A. Thomas Bradbury and lived in Atlanta. They had three children: Janette, Lynda, and Thomas. Known as a civic leader, she was active in: American Institute of Architects, Atlanta Civic Ballet, Atlanta Music Club, Capital City Country Club, Cherokee Civic Club, Daughters of the American Colonists, Daughters of the American Revolution, the Magna Carta Society, Delta Sigma Gamma, the Girl Scouts, the Piedmont Driving Club, the Rabun Gap Club, and many others.
