Scope and Contents

Two ledgers of memberships lists, minutes, and several financial accounts. Loose banking records and muster rolls of members. A 1968 U.S. Dept. of the Army questionnaire filled out by William P. Yarbrough (1879-1973), quartermaster, one of the last remaining veterans in the camp. Also includes Spanish War Veterans ribbons.

The camp was named for James O. Varnedoe (1842-1927), a veteran of the Spanish-American War and mayor of Valdosta, Lowndes County, Georgia.
