Darling Deloren "D. D." Morris was born in Henry County, Georgia, to Naomi or Nancy Allen and Richard Morris. He married Sarah Whitworth in Gwinnett County, Georgia, in 1846, and died in Barstow, Florida, while serving in the Civil War.
