Biographical / Historical
Henry Faison Emery, the son of an ice wholesaler who moved to Augusta, Georgia, from Maine, got his start as an ice merchant and became one of the early settlers of Kirkwood, now an Atlanta neighborhood in DeKalb County, Georgia. He also did business in Fulton County.
