Biographical / Historical
Jeptha Edward Campbell (1841 - 1919) married as his second wife Mary Elizabeth Dye (1856 - 1904). Their son, Newton Lee Campbell (1888 - 1966) married Thelma Graham (b. 1898), the daughter of Andrew Milton Graham (1835 - 1923) and his second wife, Exella E. Bryan (1860 - 1933). Excella (also known as Exer and Ellen) was the daughter of William McDooly Bryan (1819 - 1892) and Jane E. Mabry (1824 - 1897). Newton and Thelma (also known as Dora or Mimi) were the parents of Elizabeth Campbell who married Minor C. Shadburn.
