Biographical / Historical
Henry Crowell was born in Halifax County, North Carolina, to Tabitha Bradford and Samuel Crowell. He married Sarah C. Cantey in Georgia, served as a captain in the War of 1812 under Colonel Smith, and then moved to Russell County, Alabama, where he died.
