Hilliard L. Currier recorded elevations, distances and topographical sketches from the initial survey of the Western and Atlantic's route from the Tennessee border to the Chattahoochee River at what became Atlanta, Georgia. Biographical / Historical
Hilliard L. Currier, a civil engineer, came to Marietta, Georgia, from New Hampshire to work for the Western and Atlantic Railroad in 1837.
