Biographical / Historical

Rusha Wesley was the daughter of Louisa E. Hawthorn and Pulaski J. Wesley of DeKalb County, Georgia. The family later moved to Atlanta where Rusha and her sister Emma were first teachers and then principals of public schools. Rusha was principal of both the Lee Street School and the East Atlanta School.
