Scope and Contents

This series consists of booklets containing copies of the act governing the Employees' Retirement System which were printed by the System for distribution to its members and the general public. The law was enacted in 1949 and amended several times since then. Consequently, this publication was likewise reprinted periodically to report the major revisions to the law. Also included in each volume is a list of the members of the Board of Trustees of the System.

This series contains various informative publications designed to alert the Georgia state employees as to their benefits and rights as members of the Employees' Retirement System of Georgia. All of the publications complement the somewhat more detailed annual reports (Series 2). Some consist entirely of charts indicating estimated pension benefits for state employees at various salary and age levels.
