Biography

Chartered in 1847 as the Atlanta and LaGrange Railroad, in 1857 it was renamed the Atlanta and West Point Railroad. The Atlanta and West Point name ceased to be used in June 1983, when the railroad company was absorbed by the Seaboard System.
