Many of the publications in this series are closely related to and preceded those to be found in RG 93, Office of Planning and Budget. Included are budget reports and miscellaneous publications dealing with budgetary and accounting subjects.

Scope and Contents The State Budget Bureau was established by law in 1931 and consisted of the governor, the state auditor, and the attorney general. This series contains early budget requests made by all state agencies to the budget bureau. Earlier records includes a cover letter to the governor enclosing an estimated budget for the coming fiscal year and analysis of expenditures for the past 5 year and 10 year periods.
