Scope and Contents The Georgia Science and Technology Commission was created in 1964 as a successor to the Georgia Nuclear Advisory Commission to keep the Governor and the Georgia General Assembly informed of the progress and opportunities in science and technology so that Georgia might play a greater role in various national programs in the field.
