Though different in format, the volumes generally list (1) the name of payee, (2) occupation, (3) term of service, (4) days worked, (5) monthly rate, (6) daily rate, (7) total wages and (8) total for entry into the cash books, Series 22.
Some of the volumes have an index, some do not. Volume 1 (see 17-2-22 and 17-2-24) of the Mary Byrd also shares space with Series 22, Bound and Unbound Transportation Division's Steamship Cash Books and Statement and Series 24, Bound Transportation Division's Steamship Freight and Passage Registers.
