Included are the sale of 7% North Eastern Railroad Bonds endorsed by the governor on behalf of the state on January 19, 1878; the sale of 4% State of Georgia Bonds involved in the sale of the Macon & Brunswick Railroad in 1880 and the sale of 4 1/2% State of Georgia Bonds on July, 1885, under authority of the General Assembly Act of December 23, 1884.

The volumes lack an index. Volume 1 of the Mary Byrd also contains a cash statement dated April - May, 1870.
