Scope and Contents

This series consists of publications, produced by the Vital Records and Health Statistics Unit (formerly Vital Statistics Division) of the Georgia Department of Public Health (now a division of the Georgia Department of Human Resources), which cover the following topics: (1) statistical tabulations showing frequency of death by various causes in Georgia; (2) statistical tabulations of morbidity (reported incidence of preventable diseases); (3) statistical tabulations concerning the health facilities personnel and services in the State; (4) reports to the State Health Board by physicians on all cases of contagious or infectious diseases they discover; (5) statistical tabulations of live births, infant mortality, accidental deaths, etc.
