This series contains a collection of forms employed by county officials to report to the original Georgia Department of Public Health births, marriages and deaths occurring in their respective counties during the years 1875 and 1876. This program, far ahead of its time, only existed for two years and then was abolished until the 1930's. Although statewide in scope, only the few forms listed in the shelf list below survive.
