Scope and Contents

This series records wild land sales by sheriffs in execution of writs of fieri facias. The following information is contained in a bound volume and is consistently given: (1) number and district land lot, (2) present county, (3) name of purchaser,(4) amount paid, (5) amount of tax due, (6) processing cost, (7) amount of sheriff's costs, (8) amount of advertising, (9) date of sale, (10) county of sale, (11) excess of tax and costs.
