This series consists of a register of lands on which the Comptroller General (now known as the Insurance Commissioner) has issued writs of fi fa. This series directly relates to the Wild Lands Transfer Register, RGSGSERIES 8-5-54, in that all unimproved or wild lands on which no tax was paid and which were given over for sheriff sales should be contained in this series. It also relates to Fieri Facias Dockets, RGSGSERIES 8-5-68, recording those individuals who failed to pay tax on wild lands. Data consistently given includes: (1) number, district and section, (2) year for which fi fa was issued, (3) amount of tax costs, (4) cost of fi fa, (5) total tax costs.

In most instances, the final disposition of the fi fa is given.
