Scope and Contents

This series consists of originals and copies of the incoming correspondence of the Superintendent. Among the subjects addressed are: balances due other railroads, contracts for rented goods, debts for cords of wood from various station agents, requests for rate information, annexed transcripts of payrolls, inventory of State articles in possession of the Western & Atlantic, real estate conveyances, requests for special travel passes, and a resolution confirming the acceptance of a new lessee in place of Alexander H. Stephens.
