This series contains the annual financial reports submitted by the treasurer of the University System of Georgia to the chancellor of the system at the close of each fiscal year. There is a consolidated summary in each report in which data is itemized under the following categories: State appropriations, Income for current operations and plant purposes, Expenditures for current operations and plant purposes, Income for educational and general purposes, Expenditures for educational and general purposes, Educational and general surplus, Auxiliary enterprise operations, Student aid, Agency funds, Endowment funds, Student loan funds, Income for plant additions and improvements, Plant fund expenditures, Unexpended plant fund assets, Investment in plant, and General comments. For each of the above, figures are given for the current fiscal year, the previous year and the amount of increase or decrease. Also included are itemized financial reports in considerable detail on the operations of individual units of the University System submitted by the comptroller and covering generally the same categories listed above, although in a different format.
