This series contains fact books, course outlines, evaluation reports, self status reports and other documents found necessary by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools in accrediting an institution. These files are maintained by the Vice Chancellor for Research as a reference service to the Board of Regents. The series title is a bit misleading because there are no subject file folder labels. Please note that divisions of larger institutions are apparently accredited separately.

In the early 1950's the members of the University System o Georgia located in Athens, Atlanta, and other north Georgia cities agreed to pool some of their academic resources and to share such resources with the members of the System located in north Georgia. These resources included sharing library facilities, visiting lecturers, etc. The Calendar lists various meetings of groups and lectures to be held in the immediate future and other activities of the Center.

This series contains various legal documents including deeds, contracts for rental property, civil case files pertaining to leases and property purchases and other records pertaining to tangible property. This series thus documents the problems attending the rental and acquisition of land and buildings for the University System. It also partially illustrates the vast quantity of real property owned or leased by the various institutions in the system.

This newsletter is published by the Office of Testing and Guidance and consists of news notes relating to testing of college and high school students at colleges and universities throughout the United States, book reviews, staff changes and related news.

These bulletins are composed of reports of research projects conducted by the Office of Testing and Guidance. Most of them are fairly brief. The reports are presented in the form of bulletins.
