Scope and Contents
These are circular letters from the Office of the Board of Regents to Regents, Heads of Institutions, Presidents, Deans, Treasurers, Personnel Officers, and Registrars. Most of the letters are concerned with official notification of changes in policy, procedures, and recommendations addressed to all Heads of Institutions. Letters to Regents place emphasis on monthly meeting notices and agendas, including cancellations and postponements. Subject matter includes asking for specific information in regard to faculty, students, and personnel, valuations, surveys, allotments, schedules, and suggested programs. These letters are presented in prose containing statistical information, listings, financial statements, questionnaires, contracts, and charts. They are in the form of mimeographed, rough drafts, and carbon copies.
