This series contains correspondence, memorandums, meeting notes and supporting papers, both copies of out-going and in-coming, relating to all areas of operation, responsibility and interest of the Executive Director. Communications with other Commission officials, educational institutions, lending institutions, student, national and regional organizations for administering student aid and other state agencies are represented. Subjects dealt with include: (1) formulation of projects, (2) policies and procedures, (3) proposed and pending legislation, (4) budgeting, and (5) status of Federal contracts. Particularly voluminous is documentation on a nursing recruitment program, National Council of Higher Education Loan Programs meetings, interstate correspondence and correspondence with lending institutions.
