Georgia Commission on Alcoholism - Director's Office - Annual and Biennial Reports
Scope and Contents
This series consists of annual and biennial reports published by the Georgia Commission on Alcoholism summarizing the Commission's activities. Created by the General Assembly of Georgia in January, 1951, the Commission was authorized to study existing alcoholism treatment programs in Georgia and in other states, to evaluate the needs of Georgia regarding such programs, to report its findings and to recommend ways in which the State of Georgia could implement a more effective treatment and rehabilitation program for alcoholics. The content of these reports, therefore, documents these missions. Each volume further contains a table of contents and a list of Commission members.
