This series consists of the third copy of all rules and regulations adopted by state agencies (O.C.G.A. 45-13-81). The act stipulates that the Office of Secretary of State promulgates such rules and regulations.

The third copy designation is misleading because this copy is notarized and contains the original signatures of the agency heads responsible for adoption of the procedures. The first copy is generally made as a reference copy for the agency's use; the second copy is considered the one printed and bound and made available to the public.

Rules and regulations currently in force are available on the Secretary of State's web site at http://sos.georgia.gov/rules_regs.htm. Each rule or regulation includes a code citation and the history of its adoption and amendment.
