This series consists of bills and resolutions introduced into both the House of Representatives and the Senate of the Georgia General Assembly. Records include original bills and resolutions, vetoes since 1969, and engrossed acts since 1989-1990. The General Assembly usually convenes for two-year sessions divided into annual sittings of not more than 40 days each. Most recently, the first sitting occurs in odd-numbered years and the second in even-numbered year. Bills introduced in the first year of the session can be carried over for consideration in the next year's session.
