This series contains unbound original election returns and lists of registered voters filed with the Court of ordinary of Walton County. The returns are for elections held to elect (1) constable, (2) convention delegates, (3) judge of court of ordinary, (4) senator, (5) representative, (6) comptroller general, (7) attorney general, (8) county treasurer and (9) justice of the peace. These records include precinct returns, tally sheets and some few lists of voters. The lists of voters contain the (1) name, (2) age, (3) race, (4) occupation and (5) district of the registered voter in Walton County.

Most of the election returns have been flattened and arranged in a chronological order by date. However, the majority of the voters Lists are still bundled up, in general decay and in the same condition as they were taken from the courthouse. They have no discernible arrangement either chronological or alphabetical.
